This nationally recognised short course will provide you with the skills you need to excel as an Electrical Contractor whilst maintaining compliance within a diverse working environment.
In this online course, you’ll cover the Tasmanian regulatory requirements for ensuring the safety and integrity of electrical installations and the acceptable arrangement of switchgear, control gear and earthing methods and arrangements, as well as your legislated obligations in relation to safety, the environment, heritage sites, employment and human resources.
You will learn to develop plans and policies to ensure regulatory requirements are met when conducting an electrical contracting business, as well as your obligations to comply with electrical business regulations, supply and metering requirements, and sustainable energy principles and practices. You’ll also cover the implementation of work health and safety workplace procedures and practices, including the use of risk control measures.
