Gain the skills and knowledge you need to become a glazier in both residential and commercial settings.
In this qualification you will learn how to manufacture, process, and install various types of glass and aluminium products.
You will learn how to cut glass by hand, process glass by basic machines, perform reglazes, provide first aid and make measurements and calculations relevant to industry.
You will also learn how to fabricate and install showers, mirrors, shopfronts, read and interpret work plans and operate machinery such as boom and scissor lifts.
This qualification is offered as an Australian Apprenticeship and requires you to be employed by a suitable industry-specific employer. You will attend scheduled campus-based training during your employment.
