Learn about the key regulatory requirements that provide for the safety and integrity of electrical installations in Tasmania.
This six-hour short course is designed for Electrical Contractors who are licenced in another Australian State or Territory who need to understand the Tasmanian Electrical regulatory requirements so that they can apply for a Tasmanian Electrical Contracting Licence.
This course covers the key regulatory requirements you need to be aware of that provide for the safety and integrity of electrical installations in Tasmania. This includes the types and scope of electrical inspections and safety audits, and the authority of Electrical Inspectors.
In this course you will gain a sound understanding of regulatory definitions, legislative backgrounds, electrical safety inspection services, regulatory requirements and obligations, and the role of the Tasmanian Electrical Safety Regulator (Administrator).
On successful completion of this short course you will receive a Statement of Attendance for areas of competence, and up to eight CPD points for local participants.
Successful completion of this short course can also count towards the Nominated Managers (Electrical Contracting) course – if you enrol within 12 months of completing this short course.
