Gain the knowledge and skills you need to efficiently operate a chainsaw and reduce your risk of injury.

Learn how to better understand your chainsaw and gain the maintenance skills you need to keep it operating at its very best.

In this two-day course, you will learn about your chainsaw’s components, their ancillary equipment and functions as well as proper maintenance, storage and transporting procedures.

You’ll also have the opportunity to prepare and use chainsaw aids and equipment safely and identify and demonstrate safety requirements for chainsaw operations, as well as learn about safe, effective work practices and procedures.

If you are an employer, this course may also be delivered at your workplace at a time that is suitable to you and your staff. Ask us how we can customise this training for you and your business.

On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units completed.
