Ever wanted to dip your toes into the world of accounting before committing to a full course? Or maybe you've just transitioned into a finance role and need to brush up on your accounting skills?
This short course is the perfect introduction to accounting concepts and theories. By the end, you'll be equipped to handle basic accounting and finance tasks like creating spreadsheets, processing financial transactions, and preparing reports.
It's also a great stepping stone if you're considering pursuing a full qualification in accounting and bookkeeping.
This course will give you the underpinning knowledge and foundational bookkeeping skills that are critical for any entry level work in accounting and finance.
The course runs for sixteen weeks, online. Each week you will need to set aside at least eight hours to devote to your studies. This includes attending two 1.5-hour webinars (or watching the recording), and around five hours reading textbook material and completing learning activities. You will also be required to complete formal assessments as part of this course.
