To be eligible for a Fee-Free place you must be:

  • a resident of Tasmania or working in Tasmania
  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident, an eligible VISA holder, and
  • of working age

Learn about the work health and safety requirements needed for managers and supervisors to keep staff safe in the workplace.

This course is designed for managers and supervisors with WHS responsibilities. It consists of a one day compulsory workshop with online assessment activities.

The course includes:

  • Communicating WHS policies and procedures.
  • WHS consultation arrangements.
  • WHS training needs analysis.
  • WHS risk management, including inspections, hazard and incident reporting.
  • WHS record keeping requirements.
  • To gain the nationally recognised statement of attainment you must attend the one day workshop and successfully complete the online assessment activities.
