Are COVID-19 vaccinations mandatory at TasTAFE?

No. On 20 May 2022, the mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirement for TasTAFE students, volunteers, contractors and visitors, was removed.

Students are no longer required to provide evidence of their COVID-19 vaccination status unless they are enrolling in a qualification where vaccination against COVID-19 is an industry requirement, such as nursing, aged and residential care, early childhood, disability support etc.

Who is required to be fully vaccinated at TasTAFE? Are masks required on TasTAFE campuses? Will masks be supplied by TasTAFE?

What do I need to do if I’m a close contact?

I want to dine in the Drysdale Restaurants and/or visit the Drysdale Bar. Do I need to be vaccinated? I want to use services in TasTAFE’s Hair and Beauty salons. Do I need to be vaccinated?

No. TasTAFE does not require you to be vaccinated.

Because a physical distance of 1.5 metres cannot be maintained. you are encouraged to wear a mask for the duration of your visit.

TasTAFE encourages all clients to follow COVID-safe behaviours, such as sanitising your hands upon arrival and staying home if you are unwell.

Do visitors on TasTAFE campuses need to be vaccinated?

No. TasTAFE does not require visitors to be vaccinated.

TasTAFE encourages all visitors to follow COVID-safe behaviours, such as sanitising your hands upon arrival, physically distancing yourself from others and wearing a mask if you wish to so. Other safety measures will also be in place eg. physical barriers. Please stay home if you’re unwell.
