Destination Australia Scholarship Recipients

TasTAFE celebrated the Destination Australia Scholarship recipients at the Tramsheds in Launceston.

These scholarships are funded by the Commonwealth’s Destination Australia Program with a focus on providing financial support to international students and domestic students who decide to study in regional Australia in qualifications that lead to skilled professions in high demand.

A huge congratulations to these students and we look forward to following their progress at TasTAFE!

Continuing to celebrate our student success, we held a TasTAFE Destination Australia Scholarship Presentation evening to award 8 domestic and international students with scholarships worth $15,000 per year.

These scholarships attract students to regional Australia and awarded to those enrolled areas of skills shortages, a mission that TasTAFE is happy to support.

Destination Australia Scholarships are funded by the Commonwealth as part of the Destination Australia Program and aim to attract more International and high performing Australian students looking to undertake education and training opportunities into regional areas, such as Tasmania.

TasTAFE hosted a Scholarship Presentation Evening to celebrate successful scholarship recipients for Semester 1, 2023.
