If you would like to develop your English language skills and gain a better understanding of Australian culture, TasTAFE offers a range of courses that can assist you in improving your English for living, working and studying in Australia.
We offer a range of opportunities to improve your English language, including preliminary courses and short courses, through to qualifications at Certificate I – Certificate III level.
Courses include:
- English as a Second or Other Language (you may be eligible for the Adult Migrant English Program)
- Young Migrant Education Program (YMEP) a specific youth program for students aged 18–24 years (south only)
- work-focused courses with language support (you must be eligible for the Adult Migrant English Program).
You can enrol in these courses throughout the year, however, if you have not studied at TasTAFE before, you will need to make an appointment for an enrolment interview before classes start.
